In light of the current situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the latest Government advice, the CBA 2020 Gala Dinner set to take place on Friday 15 May at Heythrop Park has been rescheduled to Friday 20 November.

The Finalist Announcement Event, due to take place on Monday 30 March at Nicholsons has also been rescheduled and a new date will be announced in due course.

During the postponement period, the CBAs 2020 will not be reopening for new entries. All applicants have been advised that there is no action required on their part. The sponsors of the categories will continue to judge the entries once social distancing is no longer recommended and they can again visit businesses and hold face-to-face interviews.

Placi Espejo, one of four CBA Directors said: “We appreciate that many businesses would have been looking forward to the event but we feel that it is in everyone’s best interests to reschedule and host the event later in the year. On behalf of all the CBA team and our sponsors, we would like to express our appreciation for the effort businesses have gone to in entering the awards and we apologise for any inconvenience caused by rescheduling the events. We look forward to unveiling the CBA 2020 finalists and celebrating with them and the winners at the Gala Dinner in the autumn.”

Tickets are already on sale for the Gala Dinner and can be purchased via Eventbrite at a cost of £85 per person. You can buy them individually, or full tables can be booked. If you have already purchased your tickets they will be carried forward to the new date. Tickets for the Finalist Announcement will reopen once a new date has been scheduled for the event to take place.
